Stokers & Convenors Weekend 15 - 17th May 2026

Every year Male Journey Stokers and Convenors have an away weekend together where we gather to go deeper, share our stories of what it is to be a man, and support each others’ development in the skills of facilitating men’s circles, in our Male Journey local groups.

This year we are back at Yealand Conyers Old School, a peaceful building with beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. Accommodation is a mixture of beds (10) and mattresses on the floor (10). Bedding is provided. We provide our own food and do our own catering, coordinated by our brother Jo.  We arrive from 4.00pm on the afternoon of Friday 15th May and depart after lunch on Sunday 17th May.

We will be sharing together in our large circle, breaking out into smaller circles, and spending time together in nature over the weekend. Bring sturdy shoes, warm clothes and a waterproof jacket! There will also be the opportunity for music, poetry and story telling on Saturday night.
