We are a spiritual group of men who come together to support each other, listen deeply and share our truth. In this way we aim to grow as men and build a supportive network to aid us in our lives.

    

Our meetings will begin with drumming followed by a few minutes silent contemplation. We then share where we are on our journey through life. A talking piece is used which adds space and therefore a different quality of deep listening to each other compared to the normal conversations out in the world. We use the process called Way of Council to ensure we create a safe place where men can be heard and not interrupted.

We share on whatever comes up in terms of our feelings and emotions, in a safe place, while being authentic and real and not trying to fix each other.... There is no hidden agenda other than helping each other, by our presence and listening, to become fully who we are meant to be.

Our gatherings are open to all men, regardless of age, ethnicity, religious faith, sexual orientation, education, experience, ability or disability. Whether you are a curious one-time attender, or seasoned follower of The Male Journey, you will be welcomed with love and with acceptance.

We meet monthly, normally on the second Saturday of the month 7-10pm. In the Summer we meet on the beach at Seaburn around the fire and in the colder months we meet at the Eagle Building.  201 High St E, Sunderland SR1 2AX
