Return to Source

Last year 20 of us walked together to share a gathering that served to reflect, refresh and reconnect with our source, our individual and collective Male Journeys. This year, you are warmly invited to join us in Returning to the Source of your Male Journey. We first set out together through the Rites of Passage. We have worked together in many ways since then. Now we gather again, a return to our Source as Initiated Men. We will share, re-awaken, realign, refresh and remember the wholeness of each of our Journeys.

Our time together will be shaped by the Joanna Macy spiral, her “Work That Reconnects”, moving through gratitude, honouring our pain, seeing with new eyes, and going forth. We will touch the gratitude that we feel every day for the wonders that we encounter. We will feel the pain that life brings us, the individual personal pain and the communal pain that we confront together. We will open ourselves to those moments of transformation that carry us forward into new and untravelled realms. And finally, we will support each other as we go back into the world.

Together, we co-create these days. Together we weave a narrative as the sharing of our experiences generates new wisdom and insights for us all. As we say each time we make this invitation: this is not something we bring to you. Rather, it is a narrative, a story, we weave together over the days.

We would welcome the richness you would bring to this process. We know that you will benefit from the richness your brothers bring. We know that the work of Male Journey will be enriched by our weaving.
