About the event

This one-day gathering is an open invitation to pause, reconnect, and show up just as you are. Whether you’re new to The Male Journey, a long-time participant, or someone looking to rejoin the circle after time away, this day is for you.

Held in the Chapel in the Fields in Altrincham, the day will include a morning of sharing circle, drumming, reflection time in nature, and creative expression. In the afternoon, we’ll slow down together—sharing music, poetry, humour, and anything else you feel called to offer. This delightful venue is set in a beautiful, rural location and is now used for day retreats and creativity. It is both a peaceful and bright space with a garden decking area to sit out and enjoy the scenery. Expect a relaxed and welcoming space where you can connect with others in a spirit of openness and vulnerability.

This is a collaborative event organised by men from our Northwich and Manchester groups. Friends and newcomers are warmly welcome—no previous experience with TMJ is needed. We are delighted that poet and co-founder of The Male Journey Adrian Scott and comedian Tony Trivino will be joining us for the day.

💰 Cost: £10 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)

🥪 Food & Drink: Tea and coffee provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.

📩 Register or enquire: Reserve your free tickets via Eventbrite here. Email martin@malejourney.org.uk to book your place or ask any questions.

Come and spend a day with good men, honest conversation, and the kind of connection that nourishes.
