Thursday Evening 14 May to Sunday 17 May 2020.
Cost: £85 for full attendance.
To explore how we might engage in community building together. Giving time to the elements of Ritual, Council, Drumming, Stories and Poetry. Holding close also to the elements of Fire, Earth, Air and Water and seeking a deeper experience of how we are in communion with nature.
That our community will be further built and held by our reciprocal efforts. A few can't carry the many for long before the joy becomes a burden. Gathering in this way requires each of us to be willing to honestly share what we can with all its inherent vulnerability. And equally, to be honestly carried by our brothers where we cannot. Relearning how we as men might deepen in friendship and belonging.
The venue is in a rural location near St Asaph in North Wales. We will have the use of a very well appointed and refurbished Village Hall complete with showers and its own adjoining camping field. A relaxed affair where you choose whether to come for all or just part of the time. As a community we will camp (camper-vans and caravans welcome, tents available) cook communally and share meals together.
The registration and booking process will be minimal. Financially, we aim to be self-sufficient and dependent on numbers bursaries hopefully will remain available. But as always - our shared aim is to make it possible for all men to attend. Therefore, all that you are required to do is pay on arrival for the meals and nights that you will be camping. Full joining instructions will be sent on request.
All men are invited who are initiated and/or attend Local/Deepening Groups. Additionally, in these troubled times any man committed to taking responsibility for his actions in creating a better and sustainable world is welcome to apply.
