2010 were my first Rites on Team and Tim, one of the Initiates, will always be an abiding memory of that signficant time with his bright red wooly hat with a large yellow streak of fire and his announcment during the Rites that he was sometimes known by the name 'Flame'. The following year he was alongside me on the our FIRMing in a very wet and windy Ireland.

Tim's first year on Team was as a Teaching Elder on the 2012 Rites and before long he was becoming a significant contributor to the work of The Male Journey (as we later became offically known).

When we ran our own FIRMing in Perth for the first time in 2014, Tim was one of the stalwarts on Team who helped us to get through a challenging time when a key team member had to withdraw less than a week before the event.

In the following years Tim worked tirelessly in the background as a Trustee of The Male Journey, keeping everyone informed with our monthly newsletter and undertaking a significnat amount of work in generating the content on our website. Tim brought a wealth of experience from his previous work within the voluntary/charity sector and put many hours of effort into writing a number of documents including our Risk Manual as well as the Minutes of the Trustees' meetings.

He leaves a very big hole.
